I've been a photographer for as long as I can remember. It's all I've ever wanted to do. I was fortunate to have parents that encouraged my creativity, instead of forcing me to choose a more traditional path. I took my first photography class in the fifth grade. As soon as I saw my first image emerge from a tray in the darkroom, I knew that I wanted this more than anything in the world. I went on to graduate from photography school in 1996 and have been working as a professional photographer ever since.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if it rains?: I check the forecast several days before our session. If rain is definitely predicted, we can reschedule. If there’s a chance of rain, then we will discuss the options.
Does it have to be sunny?: No! I love shooting in both sunny and cloudy weather.
My kid/teen/significant other/self HATES having pictures taken.: Lucky you! I specialize in people who hate pictures. Don’t stress. We can talk before the session to set up a game plan for your specific level of camera-avoidance.
What do I wear?: What you wear is way less important than how you feel about what you’re wearing. If you’re not sure, bring extra clothes!
Speaking of clothes… Where am I supposed to change?: In my famous and glamorous “Avocado” changing tent! You may also change in your car, and some locations have restrooms available.
Can I choose a special location?: YES! I love new locations. I have plenty of my own but I want to hear your suggestions.
Can I do something non-traditional or unusual for my Senior Portrait?: Um, yes please.
Can I bring my dog, snake, cat, tarantula, horse, bunny, chinchilla, chicken, etc?: Double yes please.
Will you work with Special Needs kids/teens/adults?: Absolutely!!
